Information Videos Available - A couple of weeks ago, the CollegeBoard came out with number of videos for each of the AP content areas for students to watch to help them prepare for their upcoming AP Exams (there's an outside chance you have at least one of your AP teachers that has already directed you to these). These videos can be found on YouTube (click the image on the right). There is a series of videos for APCSP as well. These videos are available for you to look at if you feel you need a different perspective on understanding abstraction, algorithms, or the Create Performance Task in general. In one of the videos you can also learn about MakeCode, which is a platform option you could use for your Performance Task project. Feel free to look at these as needed (however they are not required).

Today's Tasks/Assignment:
Assignment - If you haven't done so already, make sure you finish both of the EdPuzzle assignments from last week. I will be putting in both of those assignments tomorrow (however remember missing assignments will not bring down your grade).
Video - You will watch the video on the right. Sorry it's a little lengthy. But after today, the videos by me are going to end for the most part (I can hear you celebrating now). Today I'll go over some last minute things to think about before you begin your Create PT. There is no assignment from this video (just sit back and watch). But I have some important things to talk about including picking a topic and the pros/cons to working with a partner.
Tomorrow (4/21) - I highly encourage you to join me for a Zoom meeting during one of two times: 8:30 AM or 2:30 PM (I get it, some of you are sleeping in these days so maybe 2:30 is more attractive for you). I will answer any questions you have regarding the Create PT before we start. Please make sure you watch the video on the right before tomorrow. I will send out a Remind message (as well as email through SchoolLoop) tomorrow about 15 minutes before each of the two sessions. This is not a mandatory session but again, highly recommended. Hope to see you then!
Items Due: "You Are The AP Reader - Part 2" due tonight (Part 1 was due last Saturday night).
