Beginning tomorrow, (and every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday), I will need you to complete the "Check In" Google Form (I will send a link out on where this is at each day). These three days reflect the slot for "elective classes" in our new block schedule in the district (in which our class is considered an elective class). See the schedule on the right. The block schedule is so that your teachers do not conflict with one another on Zoom Meetings or other meetings where the teacher is requiring you to be on during that time. For our class, we'll talk more about how this will look for us later. But for now, I will continue to introduce new videos/assignments on Mondays and Wednesdays (which I am allowed to still do). Stay tuned for more...
Also stay tuned for new procedures that have come down from our state and district regarding new grading procedures for our new online distance learning environment. I had a webinar with district officials that I watched Monday morning regarding these changes.. I will share with you what I learned from it either tomorrow or Wednesday.
Reminder: your "Letter to Myself" assignments are due as soon as you can get them into me. I want today to be the start of your plans in that letter which is why I really want them (thank you to those of you that have already sent to me). This assignment will be turned into the SchoolLoop assignment that is currently there.
Today's Tasks and Assignment:
Please watch today's video on the right. Today is heavy in talking about Rows 4, 5 and 6 of the Create Performance Task so make sure you watch. Make sure to pay close attention into what should go into choosing a good algorithm to write about (this will make a huge difference on you being successful for these Rows of the scoring rubric).
Assignment: (1) Add a screenshot(s) of your selected algorithm to your Google Doc under "Response 2C". (2) Complete Rows 5 and 6 responses for the written part of "Response 2C". This will be due this Wednesday by 11:59 PM. Please reshare your Google Doc with me when you are done ([email protected]).
Items Due: "Letter to Myself" from last Friday; please turn into the SchoolLoop assignment
