- Name (1) advantage and (1) disadvantage in using polygonal modeling when creating your game objects.
- This mesh tool allows you to model polygonal objects with such settings as union, difference, and intersection.
- Besides colors and textures (because everyone will say this), give an example of what materials can include.
- This tool may be the most important tool you use in your Modeling Toolkit where it can cut, slice, or create edges into polygons.
- What does the Combine Tool do? Give an example of when you might use this tool.
- If you know you will use multiple materials in your game object, what would probably be the smart thing to do each time you create these materials (this is not in your notes; use common sense)?
- Name (1) way to select multiple faces on an object (there's more than one way).
- What types of lines do NURBS models have compared that of Polygonal models?
Tomorrow (for Period 1) and Thursday (Periods 5 and 6), we will have a quiz on Maya Lessons 2 and 3. Let's get you ready for it with by answering these questions:

1. An advantage you may have with polygonal modeling include being able to connect certain objects together to ultimately create new and unique desired shapes. This lets you make your own creativity more visible. However, polygonal modeling is also at a disadvantage in that once you apply a certain technique, it will be irreversible and you will not be able to split up your work as see fit.
